I designed Candeloo while doing an industrial design internship at Vessel, a housewares and furniture design studio based in Boston. The brief called for a children's version of Candela - Vessel's elegant candle holder - that would be safe, durable, and delightful for young users. Candeloo uses an LED “flame” inside a translucent form, making it safe for children while retaining the warm, ambient quality of real candlelight.
